CHARLESTON – A Pittsburgh (PA), couple is suing 89 defendant corporations in an asbestos case.
According to a lawsuit filed April 8 in Kanawha Circuit Court, between 1965 and1994, Darryl R. Kunkel was exposed to asbestos fibers that his father carried home through work-clothes after being exposed to the asbestos products of the defendants.

PHILADELPHIA – Durabla Manufacturing, a Pennsylvania-based company that made and marketed sealing products such as gaskets, has collapsed into bankruptcy under the weight of 108,000 asbestos lawsuits.

Affton High School to Remove Asbestos

The Affton School Board has decided to award the contract to abate the asbestos discovered last year to a Washington, MO contractor. Asbestos was discovered last year while replacing the boilers at 55-year-old Affton High School as part of a $750,000 project.
