Asbestos Victims Family Sues 33 Companies

The family of a recently deceased man is suing 33 defendant companies in Jefferson County District Court, claiming that the mans asbestos-related disease was wrongfully caused.
According to a lawsuit filed May 20, Lawrence Baggett developed mesothelioma during the course of his work as a laborer and operator.

Foxboro High School to Start Asbestos Abatement

FOXBORO Foxboro high school will start the $20 million renovation project in June. The first part of the job will be asbestos abatement.

The U.S. Department of Labors Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has cited a Tyler (TX) oil refinery for 30 safety violations following two fatal outcomes.

Lockport firm wins $34 M state contract for asbestos removal

The Empire State Development Board of Directors has decided to award a $34.1 million contract to Cambria Contracting Inc. in Lockport to get rid of asbestos from Midtown Plaza, preparing the downtown complex for demolition.
