State seeks federal assistance to force cleanup at fire site

California health officials are requesting employees of a Fremont plant to check if they or any of their relatives have developed symptoms of asbestos-related diseases.

Woman Files Asbestos Suit Against John Crane

A California woman is suing John Crane Inc. in Madison County Circuit Court, on behalf of her husband who died of mesothelioma. She claims that the disease was wrongfully caused.
